2008 CRMR Summer Camp Information

 ·       The theme of Summer Camp 2008 is:     Handle With Care!

From the introduction in the curriculum "Camp helps to bring people into a deeper relationship with God through Jesus Christ, their neighbor, and creation.  At camp, individuals will be encouraged to discover who they are and to be responsible members of their communities and the world in which God has placed them."

La Foret is the perfect place to learn about ourselves and to learn about the environment through Bible Study, interactive learning and being in the outdoors!
Visit the Camp and Conference page for all of the information and forms.

Spiritual Direction is a sacred journey between a directee, a trained spiritual director and God. It is a venue where one's prayer life can be enriched, where questioning God's seeming indifference to our lives can be examined, where the pains and betrayals of our lives is addressed. Spiritual Direction is confidential and can be short term or on-going, The Holy Spirit is active in these meetings and leads those present to a closer union with God. The Spiritual Director is a nonjudgmental listener. After the first meeting, which has no charge, it is customary for a certified Spiritual Director to charge between $30 and $50 per hour.
Through this newsletter, I am offering pastors in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) or as many as two members of their congregations, three free hours of spiritual direction. I am an ordained minister in Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), a certified Spiritual Director who is a member of Spiritual Directors International. I have an earned doctorate and have many years working with people who seek more fullness in their lives. My areas of specialty include women, former Catholics and those who frequently define themselves as "spiritual but not religious."
There is a loving, listening place. To schedule an appointment, please call me at 719.661.5370 (my cell number) or 303.284.8582. I live in the Denver area.
