Leadership Opportunities for Youth There are some great opportunities for High School youth to develop their leadership skills while serving the church.    WHAT IS ECOY?     The letters stand for Executive Council of Youth.   The purpose of ECOY is to :   (1)               Utilize and develop leadership skills among the youth of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the Central Rocky Mountain Region.   (2)               Promote youth ministry programs   offered by the general, regional, and local church manifestations of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).   (3)               Promote the spiritual growth of the youth in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the Central Rocky Mountain Region.   (4)               Help youth learn more about the make-up of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in all of its manifestations.   (5)               Provide opportunity for youth to participate in planning, implementing and evaluating Fall Retreat, Midwinter and CYF Conference.   Click on the following link for an application ECOY Application 2008
